Communauté haitienne d'Ottawa Gatineau (Paroisse Sacré Coeur) !

Patrick reçoit l'Abbé Joseph Lin Eveillard, prêtre aumonier de la communaute haitienne de la région d'Ottawa qui se réunit chaque dimanche à la Paroisse du Sacré Coeur d'Ottawa au 591 Cumberland, Ottawa. L'Abbé Eveillard parle de son voyage récent en Haiti son pays d'origine où il est allé chercher sa mère et son frère et aussi, apporter un don de 4 000 $ au comité de construction du Canal de Ouanaminthe dans le Nord d'Haiti qui est devenu un élan de forte resistance et de solidarité de toute la population haitienne et de sa diaspora face à l'agression de son voisin qu'est la République Dominicaine menée par son président Abinader. Il exprime aussi, sa douleur face aux exactions des gangs sur la population en Haiti. Il parle aussi, des activités festives de fin d'année à la CCHO, son ouverture à toutes les communautés d'Ottawa et d'ailleurs. Il s'exprime aussi, sur la guerre actuelle en Palestine et le désequilibre en faveur d'Israel sur le terrain en dénonçant des grandes puissances dans ce conflit. En clotûre, Patrick informe que le Congrès National Ouanaminthe dans le Nord d'Haiti annoncé initialement pour du 14 au décembre est reporté pour du 14 - 16 janvier 2024. Abbé Eveillard talks about his recent trip to Haiti, his country of origin, where he went to pick up his mother and brother and also brought a donation of $4,000 to the construction committee of the Ouanaminthe Canal in Northern Haiti which has become a surge of strong resistance and solidarity of the entire Haitian population and its diaspora facing the aggression of its neighbor the Dominican Republic led by its president Abinader. He also expresses his pain facing the gangs abuses against the population in Haiti. He also talks about the festivities of Christmas at the CCHO, its openness to all communities in Ottawa and beyond. He also reacts on the current war in Palestine and the imbalance in favor of Israel on the ground and denounces the attitude of the big countries in this conflict. Before closing, Patrick informs that the Ouanaminthe National Congress in the North of Haiti initially announced for December 14 - 16, 2024 is postponed for January 14 - 16, 2024.
