Mike and Josh go all-in on the excellent selection at the Mayfair Theatre this week talking about Meeting Gorbachev (2019) and the depiction of Russia in politics before introducing Ottawa to Wakaliwood. The wonderful no-budget Supa Action films have made their way to the Mayfair with the release by the American Genre Film Archive with screenings of Who Killed Captain Alex? (2010) and Bad Black (2016). Finally they talk about the Cannes films Litagante (2019) and The Unknown Saint (2019) which are both very internal, high brow excellent films.
