Terror... IN SPACE!

Starting off with two very different and exciting films playing at Ottawa's best rep theatres there is That Never Happened (2017) a documentary examination of the treatment of Eastern Europeans in internment camps between 1914 and 1920, as well as Texas Cotton (2018) a modern comedic take on the Hicksploitation film. For those out there looking for something to watch on Halloween Mike and Josh have examined the weird trend of slasher movies in space just for you and came away with a weird mixed-to-positive experience. Starting with the excitingly campy Leprechaun 4: In Space (1996), moving to the audacious and mythic, but ultimately doomed Hellraiser: Bloodline (1996) before finishing off with Jason X (2001) the best take of all three. They also talk a little about the new Fangoria magazine and Phil Nobile Jr. and the new Halloween (2018) film.
