Ryuichi Sakamoto: Coda (2018) and Gaughin: Voyage to Tahiti (2018) both play at rep theatres this Friday, but Mike wasn't enamoured by either of them. The feature of this edition was a discussion of two films united by noted cinematographer Robby Müller, Paris, Texas (1984) and To Live and Die in LA (1985), but with the passing of Müller last week it was refocused to look at both subjects a little more through his distinct lens. There is a lot of love for Wim Wenders, but the room is divided on William Friedkin.
