The European adventure continues with the help of cerebral tour guides Jean-Pierre Melville and Eric Rohmer as Mike and Josh talk about Le Samourai (1967) and My Night at Maud's (1969) two of the great films of the French New Wave. Both films are well loved, but underrepresented in the wider conversation of the new wave our hosts hope to bring you something new. Before they make it to France crime and adolescence meet in Mike's analysis of American Animals (2018), which starts it's run at The Mayfair on June 29th.
