The Polish Vacation

A series of heavy topics on this episode today as we start our Vacation to European Films. We stay in Canada for a moment with the Black Lives Matter fueled Canadian Film Black Cop (2017). After that it's on to Krzysztof Kieślowski's A Short Film about Killing (1988) which was expanded from television film Dekalog: Five and then continue on to Roman Polanski's debut feature Knife in the Water (1962). Josh and Mike address prison reform, forgiveness, masculine competition, take a stance on Polanski, reference Repulsion (1965) and name drop Derrida and Rousseau because it's that kind of episode.
