The Premise of The Promise

After getting in another plug for The Blackcoat's Daughter (2015) and a little bit on the fears in My Scientology Movie (2017) Mike and Josh talk about the upcoming film The Promise (2016). To help parse this subject our hosts are joined by Gev Yeganian who got to speak with the actors at TIFF and shares with everyone a special message from the Armenian Ambassador H.E Mr. Armen Yeganian. You get the rundown of the film, what it means to the Armenian people and diaspora and have a laugh or two at Christian Bale's expense along the way. It wouldn't be Movie Mondays if we didn't find the relations to some other films like Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom (1975) and Hotel Rwanda (2004). The Promise has it's wide release on April 21st.
