Cold Heat is the home of raw funk and eccentric soul plus related genres such as soulful garage, acid jazz, heavy boogaloo and soulful reggae.
It mines rare and little-known grooves from the vaults of small and unknown record labels done by some of the movement's unsung heroes!
The show brings this blast from the past to share with you the raw funk and deep soul tunes of the late 60's and early 70's.
The mission of the Cold Heat is a compelling deconstruction of an often clichéd and too-narrowly-defined genre.
