Lesson Hear - Lesson #3: Learning how to spin records.
Playing records. It sounds so easy, and it seems like the turntable is doing all of the work. However, playing nine songs in 30 mins., on two different turntables, takes some skill. This on-air set of eclectic songs by female artists is the result of a few hours of off-air practice and planning. I dug deep into the station archives for some of these songs (e.g., Retta Spradlin and Judy Collins). I hope you enjoy both what I selected to play and the reasonably smooth transitions between the tracks.
