Most importantly CKCU recognizes that it stands on the unceded territory of the Algonquin Nation. We discuss one of the worst atrocity's ever committed in this young country's history. it is well known that over 6000 children went missing or died under the care of the residential school system. In an effort to kill off indigenous culture going back over a century, this number is set to possibly grow exponentially. It truly is the most shameful part of Canada's history. after the break we discuss Quebec's effort to increase its constitutional power to cement its culture and language rights.
