In a dramatic introduction to the show, the leader of the Communist Party of Canada takes offense to the Filibuster's question concerning the Marxist-Leninist ideological roots of the party and their current position on the rights to self-determination for Indigenous and Quebecois in Canada. After the party representative left the studio Ben, Borya, Brendan, and Ash discuss the push to change the name of Thanksgiving to an Indigenous theme, the conflicts between mutually exclusive values and law, and ended with a discussion on the electoral prospects of the top three parties.
