I am thinking that Jimmy McGriff recorded with Milestone in the 80s... Yes, Discogs lists it as a Milestone LP in '83... He recorded with Groove Merchant in the 70s... Great stuff. I love Jimmy McGriff. Thanks.

Solid info robert. Def sounds more like 70s Groove Merchant than anything 80s. A hold over production sound of sorts I guess.
