White label records are common in jungle music (and other hardcore techno and rave genres). Usually sold in only a sleeve with no record jacket and no info on the label at all - just a plain white label. Occasionally there will be a cryptic catalogue number or some sort of etching in the dead wax, occasionally. Usually done so producers don't get caught releasing bootleg remixes or using uncleared samples. Also prevents others from knowing what a DJ is playing, adding to the mystique of exclusive tracks, when that was a thing. |

Getting ahead of it... Will there be any drums, or maybe bass? Or just the usual mellow easy listening we all love on commercial radio... q;^)
