JUST WOW!! 2018 was yet again a bumper crop of AMAZINGNESS! Today we go back over some of my many, many personal faves over the past year. Including some new-to-me finds along the journey. Hey Chris (I?), glad you are also enjoying the sonics! At that time, it probably would have been Novalima, following some Arabic experimental sounds from Nadah El Shazly. (Sorry to not have caught your comment until just now). At this point we just dropped into Sarathy Korwar and Upaj Collective / Abdullah Ibrahim "Hajj". The whole Your East Is My West recording is just JAW DROPPING.

Okay, additional research and listening added to the long list of music to [continue] learning about. Have not checked out your recommendation of Sarathy Korwar yet but seeming more and more necessary. Sort of in a listening backlog right now. I'll move it up the list!
