Warming up for the Ottawa Jazz Festival, 2015, 35th edition!! Coming to a great outdoors (and some indoors) venue near you! Jun 18 - Jul 1 2015, at Confederation Park and nearby mini-sites, as well as indoors at NAC (mostly for extra $$). very much so!!! I volunteer with OJF--best way to really get involved and see the shows, meet jazz-minded people and yes make numerous musical discoveries. Too many things to see at once!!! Always necessitates a trip into the CD tent. Liked the Pink Martine song.

Black Dub is (was) a TOTALLY STELLAR line-up put together by Daniel Lanois. Trixie Whitley's vocals and Brian Blade rock solid "invisible" drums in particular. I REALLY hope this lineup gets together again some day. Just totally mind-melting live....
