| I recently bought Volume one and two of this series. I am very happy to have done so. They are great way to discover the Post Punk and New Wave artists of Quebec, an otherwise somewhat obscure scene. Their acquisition is definitely a highlight of 2023. Hence them being featured in this episode. (We hear from Volume two in the following tracks). Because I bought them at the same and the packaging was identical, I assumed that Volume one and two were both released in 2023. Following heightened research, I can now confirm that Volume one was released in 2020 and Volume two was released in 2023. Shut out to DJ Ben (see comments) for sharing on this matter. |

| Live recordings are always a gamble, that I am usually unwilling to take, for fear of discovering either a horrible performance, a terrible recording, or worst yet, both! When the opportunity to acquire a live recording of these two giants, I took that risk. Well, I am thrilled to report back that it was very well worth it, since not only is this performance extraordinary but the recording is virtually perfect. This is arguably one of the greatest live albums of all times, in my opinion. Get yourself a copy ! |

| This copy of this album is part of a rather incredible box set released by Luaka Bop. This box set contains a 24-page booklet, one matte gatefold record jacket (Pharoah), one glossy standard record jacket (Harvest Time Live 1977), plain white poly-lined inner sleeves for each record, and several replicas:
- poster of Jazzhus Montmartre, Copenhagen (August 1977); - news clipping from New York Daily News, (Aug., 10, 1977); - ticket for The Pharoah Sanders Group, Aug. 28, 1977 at the Sinkkasten Artsclub, Frankfurt am Main; - head sheet for Harvest Time; - large photograph of Pharoah Sanders; - contact copy sheet of 35 mm film; and - seven small photographs in an Italian photo sleeve (of Cine Foto Studio, Rome). |
