I am in a state of "end of vacation" denial.
Crushed as the prospect of return to work looms, tonight's episode is almost an homage to cruise control and artificial intelligence, minus the intelligence and control.

| Montreux 1970 (Plus The Lost BBC Sessions), a record I scored in Montreal. As the title suggest, it's very early live (and raw) Black Sabbath. I do not believe the band has endorsed or authorized this release. In my opinion, it is a great testament to the power this outfit could unleash on what was surely unsuspecting audiences at the time. There was another release from this era I came upon when I found this record, Sabbath Live in Paris 1970. I think both sound good, all things considered. I have seen actual video footage of the Paris gig on Youtube. But At 50$ a pop, my options were limited. |
