As announced last week, I am filling in for Mark Keill of Infinite ceiling tonight, which paves the way for all kinds of wacky jams. So, do brace yourselves for three hours of some infinitely bizarre music. But that's not all ! DJ Golbon will be gracing the CKCU airwaves tonight with a live set ! She will mesmerize use with a moody mix reminiscent of her performance at the last edition of national drone day.

| Live set by DJ Golbon
Golbon Moltaji, is an Iranian born and raised visual artist/DJ based in Ottawa, Canada. A visual person, from the very young age of two, drawing is been her natural way of connecting with others. Golbon moved to Canada in 2009 an to Ottawa in 2013 where she published a series of comics for Canadian Bureau of International Education. Since then she has had 5 solo and group exhibitions. Her pieces have been adopted by Ontario Public Interest Research Group (OPIRG) for various booklets and zines and I freelance for The Leveller both as a writer and cartoonist. Yet her intention has always been to animate the space, or create experiential pieces where the audience can be immersed in the piece. She began DJ-ing from December 2015. Since then the controller, sound frequencies and tempos have become her most enjoyable companion. She initiated and DJ/host for Make Me Bad Mondays, a biweekly music session at UOttawa's Cafe Nostalgica (since January 2017) and plays at occasional gigs around town; in her last performance on Drone Day she was able to achieve the "dream" of spacial art and performed an audiovisual set in which she incorporated her illustrations and videos with a conceptual 30 minute soundscape.
