Born in San Francisco in 1949. Playing gigs from age 16 the manager of Carlos Santana and was invited to a recording session at age 19 and was hired that day and would become one of the youngest performers at Woodstock. He has gone on to collaborate with many artists including Bill Frisell, Klaus Schulze, and many more
