A couple of Venezuelan electronic artists. I've played Angel Rada a few times recently but I never even heard of Miguel Noya until a month ago. The set closes with music from Klaus Schulze's porn movie soundtrack, which despite its tawdry origins sits well with his other late-70s work. Harald Grosskopf on drums. |

Gran Sabana Miguel Angel Noya - Gran Sabana - private |
Stardancer Klaus Schulze - Body Love - Brain |
Next we move to one of the best modern Berlin school projects. Turning Towards Us is fairly late for Redshift (2008) but the title track sounds like it could have been an outtake from Klaus Schulze's Mirage. |
Turning Towards Us Redshift - Turning Towards Us - Distant Sun |
Next up I again play material from the new ProgQuebec archival release by Maelstrom, this time the two tracks I have not yet played on either my program or Infinite Ceiling. I then play two cuts from the obscure Zodiac Free Arts Club project, which took its name from the famous German club that featured artists such as Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, The Agitation (later Agitation Free), etc. |

The show closes with the finest Krautrock album to have come out from Baltimore. Tarotplane's first album came out last November in an edition of 300 copies, and features two nice sidelong excursions. You get one of them. If you ask nicely you may later get the other.
Thanks for listening and have a great week! |
