Episode 422: Celebrating 50 Years of Radio Carleton A very special edition of Night Trax as we are celebrating 50 Years of Radio Carleton. 50 Years ago on November 14th , 1975 Canada's very first campus community radio station CKCU 91.1 FM launched at Midnight with You Turn Me On I'm a Radio from Joni Mitchell as the as the first song to be played and 50 years later we're still going strong and myself have been entertaining my fellow night owls since January 2014 saluting everyone has volunteered over the past half century a huge thank you for supporting me and bing the keys to my success and here's to another 50 years of great community radio throughout the Nation's Capital, Eastern Ontario, Western Quebec and a portion of Northern New York State. Happy Birthday to the legendary Radio Carleton the Mighty 93.1 CKCU FM in Ottawa.
