Hello Everyone and all set for another funtastic edition of Night Trax and this week we're celebrating all abilities and a huge, Huge HUGE shout out to all my fellow athletes with the Special Olympics across Ottawa, the Eastern District, Ontario and across Canada for being who you are and always being brave in the attempt and this past weekend I competed at a Bocce Tournament in Brockville, Ontario and me and my team finished in 2nd Place and at a Track and Field meet this past Sunday I finished in 1st Place in the 50 & 100m runs, Javelin, Shot Put and Standing Long Jump. Despite my disability being mildly autistic I am able to do what I always do best and knowing my late parents would be very pleased in what I do, biweekly late nights and a very proud Special Olympics Ontario athlete representing the Eastern District and the Nation's Capital and in a span of 3 months have earned 2 gold for Basketball and Track & Field and 1 Silver for Bocce and very pleased in what I do.
