Hi Everyone on this last long weekend of of Summer 2019 and want to welcome back all Carleton University students new and returning and if you're tuning in for the first time loads of fun, music and a few laughs in store for the next five hours so spread the word. Lots of great music with album tracks, lost gems and lost classics from the 1970's and 80's and a few from the 60's as well and always welcome your calls, requests and shout outs as well so I will all the students young and old all the best for a successful 2019-20 school year, be good to one another and be kind to one another. This week also marks eight years September 6th 2011 since I began my journey in the world of community radio here at Radio Carleton 93.1 CKCU FM and launched this show Night Trax just over 2 years later in January 2014 and proud to wake and entertain the Nation's Capital, Eastern Ontario, Western Quebec and a portion of Northern New York State and of course worldwide on the web. Thank you so much to everyone who tunes in live every week or listens on demand later on. You have made this show what it is today, a huge success and possibly the longest running overnighter to this date. Thanks again and hoping you all have a good week and a safe week ahead and enjoy the show.
