Episode 224: 44 And Loving It

Good Morning Everyone on this June 11th 2018 and this is a very special edition of Night Trax Episode 224 for two reasons. #1 today is my 44th Birthday and was born on this date in 1974 and #2 on this weeks's show will spinning almost all 45's and yes a few albums as well so you're in for an old school treat as I take you back to a time when radio hosts spun mostly 45's back in the 70's and 80's and your birthday wishes are most welcome and very much appreciated. A bonus feature, will be spinning a bit of movie music in place of the comedy block but that will return on my next live show in 2 weeks time. Program Note: I won't be here live next week Monday June 18th since I am returning rather late from Toronto - Brampton, Peel Region for the Special Olympics Ontario Training Camp to prepare the National Summer Games this summer. In its place will be an encore presentation from May 1st 2017 Episode 168: Let The Music Be Your Master and I will be back live Monday June 25th for the first of 5 new shows before my annual Summer Break. Take care everyone and enjoy the show. Cheers.

Happy Birthday Professor Mike! May you have an excellent day and a fabulous year ahead! Just listening to "With A Little Luck" and can't believe that song is 40 years old! I sure remember that one from 1978. Time flies.

Yes, and who can remember when they spun 45s, and you waited each week for the top 20, 30 or 40 to be announced--and heard your favourite songs move up and down the charts. Back in the day!
