Approaching Standards
Monday October 4th, 2010 with Bill Krause
Standards Live

There is something special about live jazz performances. Audience interaction and presence seems to create an incentive to dig deeper into the structure of a song. If jazz is the art of spontaneous improvisation, then there is nothing more "of the moment" than a live jazz performance. It is a high wire act with no second takes.
