The Overnighter

Alas, as 2AM rolled around, no Overnighter DJ arrived... but, as it was a bit of celebratory situation (the birthday of David Anthony "Dave" Brock (born 20 August 1941 in Isleworth, Middlesex, England), main mind behind Hawkwind, I put on a Nightwatch 'repeat show' - the infamous 'Hawkwind 40th Anniversary show', starting with the classic 'Space Ritual' double live LP, the sides edited together so that they flowed seamlessly (or as seamlessly as my limited editing skills would allow...). After that it was more of my favourite Hawkwind live performances through the years. Since the nightwatch is 3 hours long, and the Overnighter 5 hours, that meant the show repeated the first 2/3 of the show, but that's no bad thing, I think...
