Hello X. From whom do you take instructions?

8:14 PM, April 5th, 2025
Ben Armstrong (host)
Hey Wally, thanks for the link, I'll check that out!

From you Ben. You said to say to log in and say "heigh" when you did your intro. or might have been "hay", or possibly "hey". This dad joke apparently doesn't work in texts. Pretty damn funny in person (imho( in the car with the kids in the summer, yelling "hay!" and pointing at the bales in the fields as we drive past.

Ben Armstrong (host)
X - good to hear that my instructions are making their way over the air waves! There's a far side cartoon of cows in a car yelling at people standing in a field.

I know (groc) that one. Also good, and surprisingly closes the loop (!) is the cartoon: "Donning his new canine decoder, prof Schwartzman becomes the first human to hear what barking dogs are actually saying" Spoiler alert it's Hey! Hey! Hey!. Also, thanks for the shout out ! Also, you are killing the tunes tonight.

Hey Ben, to me B-sides were always that surprise unfiltered part of a single hit track …..I am the Walrus goo-goo g’ajoob 🎶

8:45 PM, April 5th, 2025
Wally
I have a single by Kinetic Ideals and I'm pretty sure my brother and I saw them play live back in the day. I may even still have the poster 👌

Ben Armstrong (host)
Hi Eddy, glad you appreciate the B-side theme. That was a lesson I learned as teen... turn the record over and you might be surprised

8:50 PM, April 5th, 2025
Eddy
Hey Wally, how many posters do you still have, talked to big Al on FaceTime yesterday from his music cave and there were many classic ones.

8:51 PM, April 5th, 2025
Ben Armstrong (host)
Hey Wally, that's cool if you saw Kinetic Ideals. Dig up that poster!

8:52 PM, April 5th, 2025
Ben Armstrong (host)
Brian, thanks for letting me know!

8:52 PM, April 5th, 2025
Wally
Hi Eddy, please send my greetings to Al. I still have hundreds of posters and have started to digitize some of them. My brother even has pictures and recordings of many of the shoes as well. Wish I had the technology to digitize them before the cassettes deteriorate too much.

8:55 PM, April 5th, 2025
Wally
That should read "shows" not "shoes"

Yes Eddy, LCD mos def drank from the Byrne & Eno fountain. And The Fall, too, apparently as Mark E. Smith accused James Murphy of ripping him off!
