Songs suggested by the students at the Ottawa U encampment that give them hope for a free Palestine, a mix from Lougien, and some new music.
All songs were gathered with the help of Lougien and @zoeanonymous as suggestions from students & organizers of the pro Palestinian encampment at the University of Ottawa, some of who are from Carleton University.
The Tabaret Lawn student encampment at uOttawa's demands include; divestment from corporations involved in the surveillance, occupation, and murder of Palestinians, both in Gaza and the West Bank.
❤️
The prompt Zoe gave was:
What music are you listening to to sustain you during these challenging times? What's on your playlist? Can be any song from any nation. Bonus points for music you associate with encampments and the student movement for divestment.
