Yes I do remember Big AL and bought a lot of music at Big Al's when it was upstairs in the Glebe and later at Bonehead with Al and Bruce. I volunteered at Second Time Around and Mad Platters back in the day and Gerald was good friends with Big AL so saw him often.

Chris, I think A & H was a different store but I remember that one fondly as well, it was a blues musician that owned it that I am forgetting his name and sadly he passed away. It was a great shop and found many treasures there.
