Hi @Eddy yes my brother and I saw OMD at Barrymores, they were great. So many brilliant shows at Barrymores in the 80's, we saw Aztec Camera, Teardrop Explodes, Jonathan Richman & The Modern Lovers, Split Enz, A Flock Of Seagulls (don't laugh, they were also great despite the hair :)) and so many others it was hard to remember them all.

Wow Wally, the trick to getting the front tables was to reserve a table for dinner, which was a sandwich, ha ha Saw most of all them including U2 and Simple Minds bla bla …..I’ll never forget the opening cut from OMD …Stanlow about an oil refinery ….thanx for the memories

Yes Eddy U2 and Simple Minds were great also and if you remember the Fyfe & Drum in the basement of the Beacon Arms hotel, Bauhaus, The Cramps, The Plastics, Pere Ubu, Our Daughter's Wedding and even Simple Minds and Teardrop Explodes played shows there before their Barrymores show. Great shows, great memories.
