Forever Changes, Love, revisited 50 years on...

Playing Love's third album, Forever Changes (Elektra), in its entirety. Released half a century ago, mere months after the ""Summer of Love", but in no way celebratory of that predominantly San Fransiscan phenomenon. Instead, vignettes about darker Los Angeles experiences, written and arranged by Arthur Lee, with two tracks by Bryan MacLean. Official band line-up: Arthur Lee: vocals, guitar Bryan MacLean: guitar, vocals John Echols: lead guitar Ken Forssi: bass MichaelStuart: drums (Orchestration: David Angel)

One of my favourite albums, which I originally picked up on an Ampex cassette in a delete bin in Towers Department Store in north Toronto in the mid-70s when I was in High School. Still one of my favourite albums, hundreds of listens and several copies later... laterperiod in the mid-70s
