She died of Clear cell sarcoma in 2010 - that year, the Meltdown in London held an all-star tribute concert for her. |

Corrosively for German society, the Stasi forced IM (information mitelbeiters), unofficial collaborators, to report on friends and family in order to avoid being persecuted and imprisoned themselves. These tracks, about the German divide and/or secret police, go out to people victimized by secret police who continue to operate in many countries today. |
