Today, No Wrong Notes features a set of tracks by jazz artists who created new radical music influenced by the politics and values of Martin Luther King, Malcolm X and the civil rights movement of the 1960s. Avant-garde jazz meets black power and afro-centrism.
Many of these tracks have now been compiled on an excellent release from Soul Jazz Records: Freedom, Rhythm, Sound: Revolutionary Jazz & The Civil Rights Movement (2009).
