Sun Ra (1914-1993) was a jazz composer, bandleader, piano and synthesizer player, poet, and philosopher who recorded dozens of singles and over one hundred full-length albums during his lifetime, making him one of the most prolific musical artists of the 20th century.
This week I'll wade into this massive discography as part two of an ongoing series where I devote the entire show to Sun Ra LPs from both CKCU's collection and my own.
