Hannah Shira Naiman drops into the studio to chat and perform. Based in Toronto, she writes new songs that sound old, plays banjo, fiddle and guitar, and sings very well (www.hannahshiranaiman.com). She's in the area to perform with Toronto-based fiddler Rosalyn Dennett at Pressed Café on Wednesday, Kaffe 1870 in Wakefield on Friday, and The Branch in Kemptville on Saturday. Her recent album, "Tether My Heart", is delightful. We also talk with Mo Kenney who released her second album recently. Produced by Joel Plaskett, "In My Dreams" confirms Mo as a significant new talent. She is on tour from her home in Nova Scotia and will play the NAC Studio this Friday.
