When asked to fill in for the Sunday Night Mind Melt, you have to ask yourself one question - do I have what it takes to measure up to host Bijon Roy's high standard? Hopefully I have - Starting out with a little look at Osamu Kitijama's first solo record, we hit a bit of drone music, doing a glancing riccochet off of Rock-in-Opposition inspired music into a handful of guitar-heavy ambient/experimental pieces. A few Canadian visionaries led us to some Avante-Garde and a cut from James Blood Ulmer, which leads nicely back into some more experimental guitar work from German guitarist Gunter Schickert. Yes, I think that worked out just fine.
