Tonight's show focuses on the cover version which of course subscribes to the ethic that if it worked once there's a possibility it will work again. Dylan, The Beatles and Chuck Berry are some of the most covered songwriters in modern pop music.
| We open with the Beatles covering Larry Williams (The Beatles covered a number of 50's r'n'b hits on their early l.p.'s) and follow with a grab bag of 60's era bands and musicians putting there own stamp on the work of the Beatles and a few veterans trying to find popular relevance in that contemporary landscape. |
