| Starting out with a one-song tribute to a drummer of renown who left this planet this week - Giner Baker. I decided not to play an extended drum solo, or one of his more famous/popular outings... I am playing something pre-cream, a live performance from 1964 - the Graham Bond Organization, live in 1964. Clearly, while this might not be considered his 'best' drumming, both he and Jack Bruce showed themselves to be young, talented, and out to prove themselves. A very 'vital' sounding track. Then we hit some 'jazz-rock' material... |
