Frank Smith and Jeremy Sills ( who taught music to youngsters: voice, guitar and piano) met in 2009 when Jeremy brought his "sound healing" to a meditation class, playing his crystal bowls. The two ended up singing a couple hundred covers together, an eclectic mix of folk and alternative rock artists, eventually recording 7 albums worth of live guitar and voice covers. After an inspiration struck, they started writing originals, and recorded their first studio album Uncertain Vista in 2011 with Jonathan Edwards at his studio Corvidae Music. Uncertain Vista; No Way In: No Way Out and The Glorious Ache were recorded with Jonathan. In 2014 when they were writing songs for Etched, Jonathan wasn't available to produce, so they reached out to Phil at Bova Sound, recording three records with Phil and a host of talented, predominantly Ottawa based, musicians: Etched; Echoes In Time; and Maps - Burned or Lost. All music is on Bandcamp, Spotify, Amazon etc. They are strictly a studio band as Jeremy is almost never in Ottawa, living in Peru and on the West Coast of Canada. They still spend time together writing, rehearsing and recording music, totally independent and self-financed.
