Kim (Salmon) and Leanne!! Daevid Allen Weird Quartet!!
Starting out with some shorter psych, rolling thru some punkier material, then into the hearder-rockin'/70's tunage until we hit the jazz/avante-garde touchstone (with the Merrie Mack in tow!), and we finish with a full-album-drop of another of Gong-meister Daevid Allen's last side projects, the Daevid Allen Weird Quartet!!

Clearly Mary MacKinnon was a woman of many and varied tastes. |

| Finishing with a full-album-drop from the late Daevid Allen - most recognizably the main mind behind Gong, he perpetrated a huge number of one-off projects and solo releases... and this is one, 99% completed at the time of Allen's passing, was wrapped up and fell into my hands... and it turns out to be a stunning relase, IMHO. More info from a review from the Something Else! website: Elevenses is credited to the “Daevid Allen Weird Quartet,” who recorded as “Weird Biscuit Teatime” for its prior set of recordings DJDDAY from a decade earlier. But putting ‘weird’ in a band name that also includes the words ‘Daevid Allen’ seem redundant, and the music will sure seem that way to many.
