For the last Nightwatch of 2009, I decided to play a performance by a local Band BLACKBALL, recorded on Oct 18th, 2008. It was a marathon performance done as a benefit for CKCU, recorded live by Mark Valcour and Sound Output Audio Productions, so I played it in it's entirety, exactly how it happened that evening, except for the special 'Hawkwind Cover Set' - I only have 3 hours, and that would've put me over the limit... I'll play it next year. It was a great night for over-indulgence in Ottawa Hardcore, by some oldies who have been playing punk around Ottawa since the mid-80's.
The last 2 tracks were to fill up the time between Blackball and the over-nighter. Mellow, soothing, acousti-jazz....
