Mike Regenstreif thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with Judy Collins on Canadian Spaces last Saturday. I posted a podcast to the interview at http://soundcloud.com/cwhite613/judy-collins-on-ckcu-fm. She talks about meeting Leonard Cohen, and she talks about first hearing Joni sing "Both Sides Now" over the phone (at the suggestion of Stephen Stills) and falling in love with it immediately.

Well I just listened to a 1970 version of the song with Joni Mitchell and I have to say Judy Collins brings it a bit more sensitivity. Sometimes a better version comes alongs the 2nd time around... At least that's my thought.
