Thanks Bill for that update. I also heard from John Henderson and Pippa Hall who are playing with Bruce Barton in their new trio "Lost for Words" on Jan 24. Concert is at the Log Drive Cafe, Abbortsford House Rec Centre, 950 Bank Street, doors open at 7pm, concert at 7:30pm.

Also, the great Newfoundland singer and fiddle, accordion and flute player, Daniel Payne will be performing at Patty Boland's Pub, 101 Clarence Street in the Byward Market, Thursday January 30th at 7:30 pm. Daniel is in town to work on Ian Tamblyn's upcoming Labrador coast recording project, and this is a rare opportunity to see and hear one of Newfoundland's best exponents of that Island's rich musical tradition.
