| Odawa Native Friendship Centre: Beginning November 12th, 2024 our Community Christmas Food and Gift Drive will start!
This drive will help a great many number of Indigenous Children and Youth from our community who would benefit from an extra Christmas gift from YOU! We are asking for Gifts and Stocking stuffers for the following ages; Ages 0 to 6 months Wipes, diapers, formula, socks, booties, mobiles, diaper cream, bath toys, etc. Ages 6 months to 1yr Wipes, diapers, formula, puzzles, books, teething rings, educational toys, etc. Ages 1 to 3 years Mittens, hats, socks, toothbrushes, tights, hair accessories, stuffed toys, etc. Ages 4 to 6 years Legos, sports items (pucks/balls), thermal wear, jewelry, play dough, chapstick, etc. Ages 7 to 10 years Sports items, Legos, , soaps, deodorants, comics, head bands, etc. Ages 11 to 15 years Gift cards, movie passes, art supplies, gloves, socks, PJ’s, fast food cards, etc. Ages 16 to 18 years Gift cards: cinema, fast food, coffee etc. So please spread the word that Odawa is collecting gifts for children 0 to 18, non-perishable foods, cash donations, wrapping paper, tape, and Christmas treats such as chocolates, and candy canes.
