As an alumni (1977-1982) who once protested mistreatment by station staff who refused to let me have an on air show by having his last two hour program consist entirely of playing Joni Mitchell's "Goodbye Porkpie Hat" 23 times in 23 different ways, I was quite impressed by this particular episode and track selection of course. I wrote on my facebook repost, "You can't make this shit up. Wayne Restoule, the host of the "Indigenous CKCU" show (aka The Weaselhead Hour) at Ottawa's Carleton University got cut off from his co-host "who couldn't make it across the river again" and so he decided to create an anti-protest protest playlist. Playing eight different versions (!) of Gordon Lightfoot's "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" might seem obscure as a message, but in my way of thinking, is quite a subtle, even delicate way of putting forward a death wish. And funny. They need funny right now in Ottawa. Stream good until Sunday." - Georges Dupuis

Should also note about that last bit that my closed-circuit protest was only heard within the confines of the station. not recorded and thus may have created a weirder picture of me than I had intended due to the myth making process...
