| Makonsag Indigenous Child Care Is looking for families to join our new childcare center! It is located on 1770 Courtwood crescent, off Maitland and Woodward. Our center is Indigenous-led, but we welcome ALL families to be part of our program. Our center runs from 7:30 AM to 6PM, Monday to Friday.
What is Makonsag Indigenous Child Care? “Our program provides a unique, culturally-enriched learning environment that supports the spiritual, emotional, intellectual and physical growth for Indigenous children in Ottawa.” Care is provided by kind and loving educators who are passionate about child-care and Indigenous culture. We have spaces in our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool programs, all providing cultural-based learning as well as fostering connection to the land.
