I just listened to Aboriginal CKCU program and enjoyed the music and appreciate the announcements. I was a community programmer for nine years in Toronto at CKLN 88.1 FM and had a program Honor the Earth on Sunday evenings until the station was taken down after 25 years on air. I still feel the pains of parting with a dynamic group of fellow programmers and a station that really represented the values of community. I miss community radio and I miss the social dynamics of Toronto. There is very little evidence of First Nations culture in Ottawa that is literally being covered up. So thank you for your program and for the commitment of your programmers.
