The Rock Mass for Love was celebrated on 21 March 1971 at St George's Cathedral (Anglican) in Perth, Western Australia, led by the Very Rev John Hazlewood, Dean of Perth. Music for the service was provided by Bakery, a local progressive rock group plus a jazz ensemble featuring drummer Bruce Devenish.

This was part of a series of rock masses - the first was the Rock Mass for Peace in December 1970. Other Rock Masses were based on themes of pollution and freedom. The last such event was the Rock Mass for Life in July 1971, though the cathedral hosted a New Life Celebration in December of that year featuring Bakery.
