Thank you Dave for a Cda 150 edition of OMH. Next Sunday I will continue in similar vein. I would like to bring an important event to the attention of listeners. On 16 July on Parliament Hill, from 5 - 8 pm, Ottawa's churches will come together in prayer and worship for Canada's 150th birthday. This is - to my knowledge - the only multiple-church cross-Ottawa event to be celebrating this historic moment. The event is free, and we ask churches to bring it to the attention of their congregations. In order to fund the event we also ask churches to make a $100 donation, which can be done - asap please- on the Eventbrite site http://bit.ly/2u3ngk1 Let's all gather together as the body of Christ regardless of denomination and give thanks! There will be praise in music from Jodi Faith, and a massed choir of 150 singers.
