A wonderful night featuring two of Canada's finest singer-songwriters: Suzie Ungerleider and Amy Millan. In hour 1 we talk to Suzie Ungerleider about her latest album Among The Evergreens and her upcoming concerts in the Ottawa area. It's a very personal collection of songs, and Suzie talks about how her partner and daughter made their way into many of the songs. She also talks about working with Ottawa's Jim Bryson to produce this great collection of songs. You may recognize Amy as the female vocalist with Montreal's Stars and as a member of Broken Social Scene. I Went to Find You is her third solo album, but it's been 15 years since her last one. We talk about the gorgeous production on this recording and the themes of the songs. Amy very graciously tells us how she loved to sing with her Father before bed every night as a child, and how his tragic death (when she was 5 years old) in a car accident impacted her life and helped push her to continue finding her voice and herself through music all her life.
